When a cow becomes pregnant she produces pregnancy-associated glycoproteins (PAGs). These PAGs are only produced in the presence of a live embryo of fetus.
The Alertys OnFarm Pregnancy Test detects (PAGs) in whole blood (EDTA) as early as 28 days post-breeding and 60 days post-calving.

How the test works
Take blood from cow using sample collection material (needle, EDTA tube, needle holder)
Watch how to video on QR code displayed on the product packet and then run the test as instructed
Wait 20 mins:
Interpretation the results is displayed on product packet
Results in 20 mins allows you to take appropriate action quickly
Visual display shows results
The animal is PREGNANT if the test line (T) is red or pink
The animal is OPEN if no test line appears
The test should be repeated if no control line (C) appears
Important things to remember
Test needs to be run between 15-30°C
Run inside house if too cold or too hot
Invert blood-filled EDTA Tube 5 times as soon as you take blood.
In the instance of a very faint T line -> any sign of red on the T line, that cow is pregnant
