The IDEXX Farm Frameworks have been created to help farmers find all the information they need in one spot. It focuses on increasing productivity on farm by decreasing the incidence of infectious disease and increasing reproductive efficiency.
The infectious disease Frameworks include a diagnostic protocol for testing as well as BioSecurity recommendations to assist reducing the incidence of disease.

The correct application and interpretation of diagnostic tests at a herd-level can be complex and there are a number of different approaches which can be taken. The Farm Frameworks are a result of collaboration between a number of international and local experts; pathologists, veterinarians, researchers and diagnostic experts. They are designed to be rigorous and efficient in order to meticulously identify infected animals in the most economic manner.
How to use the Farm Frameworks
Farm Frameworks are designed to be worked through with your veterinarian. Your vet will follow the test procedure and use the Framework to identify which test to use, then based on the results they can explain the next steps to you. They can also work with you to implement BioSecurity measures you can put in place to reduce the risk of infectious disease on your farm.
